Service Snapshot Manager - No more batch files

Open captivate presentation - Service Snapshot Manager - No more batch files

On my laptop I have CFMX, CFMX7, JRUN, JBOSS, Weblogic, SQL Server, Oracle and the list goes on and on. Of course running all those services at once would bring even my mighty Thinkpad to a screeching halt.
I used to stop/start services using batch files, but managing all those batch files became a hassle. I now use a tiny app I had one of my talented associates build called "Service Snapshot Manager".

The application allows you to create "Snapshots" of windows services and switch between the "Snapshots" using a tiny tray app.

Neal Laugman's Gravatar Still using this wonderful app! There are others out there but this is by far the most convenient. If you aren't going to update it any more, would you consider making the code available? Thanks again!!

Mike Hunter's Gravatar It is a sweet utility that easily lets you create profiles to start and stop different combinations of Windows services. I have 4 profiles on my development system, one for PHP development, one for Rails development, one for ASP development and finally one for developing nothing! This utility lets me switch between the profiles by clicking on an icon in my system tray. Very simple.
